The Mesa Daybed celebrates contemporary craftsmanship in its rich detail and gathering of techniques. Exposed on the corners and bridle joints on the legs accentuate the rich grain in the timber, while heavy leather cord, painstakingly tacked to the frame with traditional steel nails, provides strong, yet comfortable and forgiving support. Leather panels are carefully selected, cut, and prepared by hand before being carefully sewn. The tufted cushion offers an elegant counterpoint, sitting above the frame in reference to the iconic midcentury modern daybeds.
