Tú y Yo, Standard Edition

Description

A search for a new beginning led David from Detroit to San Francisco, where he fell in love with his now wife, Isabella. In 2017, curiosity carried him to her hometown of Mexico City to meet her family. There, between shared meals, warm embraces, and country-wide travels, he began to photograph what he saw—fragments of the familiar and the unknown.

Over time, these images revealed themselves as a quiet conversation: between David and Isabella, David and Mexico, the Midwest and Mexico, and ultimately, between the viewer and the work. Like the Tú y Yo chair on the cover, joined in the middle and facing each other, the book is an invitation to meet—across cultures, across hearts—and to approach life’s moments with softness, curiosity, and understanding.

Printed on uncoated paper with hardcover linen binding, the book balances tactile beauty with emotional depth—offering a glimpse into the spaces where love, culture, and identity overlap.
